Annie, thanks for your questions. Pure maple syrup can develop mold if not refrigerated after opening. Organic raisins stay fresher longer if refrigerated. I actually refrigerate all dried fruit, again to prevent mold and to keep them fresh for longer periods of time. As I mentioned, I buy coconut oil in a large tub. I keep some in the cupboard that I use on a daily basis and refrigerate the remainder of the container. Whole foods without preservatives are perishable and will last longer if refrigerated or frozen. Hope this helps.
Blessings,
Sharon

Why do you keep your maple syrup and raisins and coconut oil in the refrigerator? I keep all of these things, but in the pantry.

We're glad you found us, Christian. Thank you for your encouragement.

I assume you mean RSS rather than RRS? If so, we do offer that service. Simply scroll down a small bit, and on the left side you will see RSS symbols for several readers.

Or, as an alternative, you can subscribe to our updates via email and we'll send you a very short email with a link to the blog post every time we write a new one. You can even choose to have just one email a week with all of the updates listed if you would prefer. The place to subscribe is at the top of the left column.

God bless,
Jerry

It's so lucky for me to find your blog! So shocking and great! Just one suggestion: It will be better and easier to follow if your blog can offer rrs subscription service.

Stacey,
Thank you for you question as I'm sure lots of our readers have the same question. Fortunately, Sharon addressed this in several earlier DGs. So as a start, let me suggest you go to http://thecoachingpair.com/blog/nuts-making-them-easier-to-digest/. That, in turn, will lead to another DG which tells even more.
God bless,
Jerry
