A Friday Movie

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” Anonymous
In keeping with our sometimes tradition of ending the week with something light like a video, I submit today’s “A Friday Movie.” Well — not quite a movie, but an incredible slide presentation that I felt compelled to share with you. This came to me from a friend earlier in the week and I was “blown away” by the overall quality of this presentation.
The photography in this show is some of the most striking and breath-taking scenes I have ever seen. If for no other reason than the photography, I urge you to take a short break and enjoy the scenery.
The music, “Eternal Love Affair” by Ernesto Cortazar is a perfect match for the scenery. Very relaxing.
The message presented by the slide show is poignant to say the least. And as an added bonus, the presentation ends with a series of ten tips on how to stay young. Some great advice, like “Throw out nonessential numbers.” Guess what those nonessential numbers are…
The only downside that I saw was the two rather cheesy messages to pass the presentation along. At least they weren’t accompanied by any disaster like your leg falling off for non-compliance. Still, to me at least, it was unnecessary and unfortunate. Also note that you will have to click your way through the presentation. It’s not automatic.
I did a little research, and the artist who put all this together is an engineer from Singapore named He Yan Jan. Google him if you would like. Looks like he’s done an amazing number of such presentations. I never thought of Power Point as an art form before, but this particular presentation is a true work of art in my book.
So, take a little time this weekend and enjoy.
Blessings!!!

Simply breathtaking and so meaningful. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Nancy. Have a magnificent holiday!
God bless,

The photography is breathtaking – thanks for sharing.
Would love to know how you manage to show one of the photos as a still at the top of the blog post
Easy, Lynne. There are several screen capture programs out there. One of the best is Tech Smith’s Snag It. I just stop the video or in this case the PP and take a screen shot then save it as a jpeg or whatever I want. Then just treat it like any other photo to load on the blog.
Have a wonderful weekend. Let’s touch base early next week.
Blessings!
Jerry
Thank you, Jerry, for the link. Right from the start my tears were flowing a little. Maybe I’m too sensitive due to the anxiety problem I still have but the ten tips were very poignant.
